Ma&Mi（マーアンドミー）の ブランドパーカーは、
もともと 私たちがイベントで着用するために作られたユニフォーム でした。

デザインを手がけたのは、Ma-chan（まちゃん）。
ブランド名の由来である

｢Material & Mind ＝ 物質・道具・機能 × 心・想い・記憶・精神｣

を重視し、

・物と心、両方が育っていく時間を生きること
・年齢も、性別も、体型も関係なく、誰が着てもブレないこと
・流行に左右されず、長く着続けられる服であること

この3つを最優先に、
たったひとつのデザインとして生まれた服です。

着用を始めて、数年が経ったある日。
Mi-chan（みちゃん）が、ふと気づきました。

—— 何度着ても、まったく飽きない。

気づけばこのパーカーは、仕事着としてだけでなく、
休日にも自然と手に取る一着になっていました。
それは、
まるで制服のように、
迷わず手に取れてしまう服だったからかもしれません。
多くの人には、
このパーカーの模様は「牛柄」に見えるかもしれません。

けれど、デザイナーの Ma-chan（まちゃん）は、
「シャチのおなか」を思い浮かべながら、この柄を描いています。

実物に似せることよりも、
記憶の中に残った"感覚"を形にすること。
それもまた、この服の一部です。

流行を追っていないから、古くならない。
主張しすぎないから、何度でも着ていられる。

こうして、ある結論に辿り着きます。
子供の頃から着ていた服を、
大人になっても、変わらず着続けていられること。

年齢や立場が変わっても違和感がなく、
思い出と一緒に時間を重ねていける服であること。

そのために選んだ答えが、

「デザインはひとつ。 長袖と半袖。 ドルマンパーカーで、3サイズ。」

これさえ揃えば、
子供の頃から大人になるまで、
思い出とともに、ずっと着続けていける服になる。

この発想は、
流行や物欲とは距離を置いた、Mi-chan（みちゃん）らしい真逆の考え方。

“シグマ的思考”そのものでした。

その考え方ごと、この服は、みなさんの時間の中へ届けられています。

このパーカーは、
服を増やすために作られたものではありません。

気づけば、
「今日もこれでいい」と手に取っている。

そんな瞬間が、
少しずつ増えていく服です。

選ぶ服を、減らすため。

The Ma&Mi brand hoodie was originally created as a uniform for us to wear at events.

The design was created by Ma-chan.
Guided by the origin of our brand name,
“Material & Mind” — material, tools, and function × heart, feelings, memories, and spirit,
the design places the highest priority on two ideas:

To live a life where both objects and the heart grow together.
And to create something that never wavers, no matter who wears it.

With these two principles at its core, the hoodie was born as a single, unwavering design.

Several years after we began wearing it,
Mi-chan suddenly realized something.

— I wear this every day, yet I never get tired of it.

Before we knew it, this hoodie had become something we naturally reached for,
not only as workwear, but also on our days off.

Because it doesn’t follow trends, it never feels outdated.
Because it doesn’t assert itself too strongly, it never feels tiring to wear.

And eventually, we arrived at a conclusion.

“One design.
Long sleeves and short sleeves.
A dolman-style hoodie in three sizes.”

If these are all in place,
you can continue wearing it for a lifetime, together with your memories.

This idea—keeping distance from trends and excess desire—
is a way of thinking completely opposite to the mainstream.
It is Mi-chan’s sigma-like way of thinking, through and through.

And it is this way of thinking itself that we deliver to you, through this hoodie.

This hoodie was not created to increase the number of clothes you own.

It was created to reduce the number of clothes you have to choose from.
